HE'S HERE!

I finally get to be with my boy this weekend. After a truly awful terrible no good very bad week, this is really what I needed. What I've needed for much too long now. I got to spend time with him last night and I'll be spending more with him all day today! It is so crazy how only 5 minutes into seeing him my attitude was like that of a completely new person. It was as if my bad week had never happened.

I'm really excited that I'm going to be forcing him to watch The Prestige today! I'm sure plenty of you saw it in 2006 when it came out, but I only discovered this fabulous thing a couple weeks ago and I've been itching for a re-watch ever since. If you haven't seen this movie and you like movies that can make you say "holy moly I never saw that coming" (I never say holy moly? Not sure why that was my word choice...) then you MUST see The Prestige.

We'll also probably grab lunch at one of our favorite places in town and just enjoy feeling like we live in the same city again. We go to school in different places, but usually we always have our summers. This is out first summer he has had to stay away to finish his classes. It's been really weird for us and I'm ready for a taste of normal. Well, as normal as we can be...

Any other long-distancers/long-termers out there? What are some of everyone's favorite things to do when you dedicate a full day to you better half? I'd love suggestions! :) Have a beautiful day, lovelies.

  1. Aww that's awesome! Not gonna lie I'm so happy Mr. Grow and I aren't long distance anymore. That was incredibly hard. But the Prestige is AMAZINNNNGGGGG!!! Basically anything by Christopher Nolan is amazing.

  2. That is so cute :) I'm also having my better half miles away rather in another country :) So we meet twice a year, but I hope next year he will move to me. I'd take lunch at our favourite place, then will go out on walk in the town, watch movie together :)

  3. My fiancé forced me to watch The Prestige and I'm really glad he did! We had a long-distance relationship for the first two years we were together and I know it's not easy! But it's so lovely to see each other on weekends.
